Questions
What counts as "down"?
If your site doesn't respond, times out, or returns an error (HTTP 400 or above), we check again a minute later. We only email you once it fails twice in a row, so a single blip won't wake you up.
Do I need a card for the 14-day trial?
No. Sign up with your email, add your sites and start monitoring right away. You only enter payment details if you decide to choose a plan.
How do SSL reminders work?
We read each site's certificate twice a day and email you 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before it expires. When you renew it, the reminders reset automatically.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SurelyUp checks your sites from the outside, the same way a visitor would. There's no plugin, code snippet or DNS change.
I look after sites for clients. Is this for me?
Yes. The Freelancer plan covers up to 15 sites on one account, checked every minute, so you hear about a problem before your client does.
Can I stop the alert emails?
Yes. Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch alerts off or on from your account at any time. Your sites keep being checked either way.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your billing page in a couple of clicks. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
